"When we build let us think that we build forever. Let it not be for the present delight, nor for present use alone, but let it be such work as our descendants will thank us for. Let us think as we lay stone on stone, that a time is to come when (others) will look upon our labor and say, 'see, this is what (they) did for us'!"

GratitudeNot only is Pilgrim Chapel one of Kansas City’s most recognized historic structures, it is also considered by many to be among the most beautiful. Many have contributed to maintaining the beauty of this public chapel. We would like to especially acknowledge the following:
Diana and John Dunn, Tom and Muffet Harmon, Ben Meade (in honor of his mother, Dorothy), Barbara Bailey, and Peter and Julie Browne.
We are also deeply appreciative of the care Ryan Lawn and Tree provides as a community service to the chapel grounds.
